Osteopathy & hEDS

(and all the other chronic pain conditions that seem to overlap)

This 90min session combines:

- Full Osteopathic Assessment & Treatment

- Myofascial techniques informed by a decade of education and working with chronic pain and hEDS|HDS clients, in alignment with the latest research in fascia and manual bodywork protocols.

- Nervous system regulation : we will incorporate soft, safe, soothing techniques at the beginning/end of each session, as indicated by best practices worldwide for chronic pain.

- We keep track of stress levels, life changes, tissue quality, inflammation response, pain perception and more at each session to make sure we are always responding to your body in real time.

Goals:

Instead of relying on aggressive or deep fascial release that can sometimes bring short term relief but long- term flare-ups, we focus on stability, sensory feedback, fascial work and pain relief .

Please note you do not have to be officially diagnosed to benefit from this treatment.

If you are seeking thoughtful, research informed, and deeply personalized support— lets talk!

Who this helps:

- Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS)

- Joint hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD)

- Chronic pain that hasn’t responded to other treatments

- Bodies that crave deep pressure but don’t get lasting relief OR

- Bodies that have a lot of pain but cannot handle any kind of deep pressure techniques without causing a major inflammation flare

As we all know, and the research finally shows, these conditions come in bouquets; MCAS, Endometriosis, GI issues, headaches or migraines, neurodivergence and more. And with this come flare days, where daily life becomes limited - we will work out win:win plans for these days on a individual basis.

-

What to expect:

Your session starts with a thorough assessment. Fully clothed, you’ll experience gentle techniques that may include:

- Myofascial remodelling (MFR)

- Osteoarticulations & Joint Mobility

- Muscle Energy Technique (MET)

- Trigger Point Therapy

- Lymphatic Drainage

- Visceral Manipulation

- Cupping

Each session is responsive to how your body shows up that day, but will always include a slow, gentle start to the session and time at the end for quiet integration.

It’s a collaborative process based on safety, communication and adapting to your feedback.

This session draws on 10 years of hands-on experience, informed by current research and deep listening to bodies that don’t fit the usual mould.
